GeForce GTX 590 vs 2x GTX 580 SLI in Plain 3D and Stereo 3D Mode
Time for some benchmarks of the new GTX 590 dual-GPU video card, as promised I did some quick testing to compare the GTX 590 versus two GTX 580 in SLI. Below you will find the results and I can say that they are quite interesting, considering the fact that the GTX 590 uses pretty much two GTX 580 GPUs, but running at lower operating frequency and video memory also running at slower speed. Of course I did try some overclocking of the GTX 590 and thus found some interesting things while trying
Nintendo 3DS Gets 3D OK Go Update
The Nintendo 3DS hasn't even hit the shelves here, and it already has an update. However, it's not to fix bugs or add a new interface. Instead, it's to add a new video by the band OK Go.
Nintendo announced the update today, which will add a 3D version of the band's "White Knuckles" music video. You don't have to worry about a crappy conversion, either, because the video was shot in both 2D and 3D.OK Go is well known for its creative videos, and this is no exception. To date, the 2D

Netflix applies credits for those impacted by outage, 3 percent
If you're like us and would rather throw change into the jar at the store than to carry it around in your pocket all day, you'll probably be just as excited as we are to hear Netflix is offering credits to some of those impacted by yesterday's outage. We have never been good at calculating percentages, but it doesn't take a math major to figure out that three percent of a $ 9 bill isn't anything to get excited about. It isn't completely unprecedented though.
Sharp Ships Four AQUOS Quattron LED HDTVs in LE830 Line
While most manufacturers are cranking out the 3D TVs, Sharp is doing something completely different. They are rounding out the month of March with the shipment of four new LED-lit HDTVs that play squarely in two dimensions.
However, these are not your typical LED TVs. All four fall under the AQUOS Quattron LE830 Series, which includes Sharp's own Quattron Quad Pixel technology. This little extra adds
