If you're like us and would rather throw change into the jar at the store than to carry it around in your pocket all day, you'll probably be just as excited as we are to hear Netflix is offering credits to some of those impacted by yesterday's outage. More Stereo 3D Content for the PlayStation 3 Coming from Sony
Apparently Sony has serious plans for pushing more stereoscopic 3D content to the PlayStation 3 consoles this year and we are not talking about games with support for stereo 3D, but movies as well. Once in a rare while a documentary spins a tale with enough human drama, surprise and compelling characters, it could almost be a work of Hollywood fiction. The Times of Harvey Milk is such a riveting story. At times we might think it is contrived, but alas the conclusion is all too real.
The movie is pieced together from a veritable sea of archival footage, so no wonder that director Robert Epstein

DreamWorks may be done with the "Shrek" franchise, but not all of its characters. The fluffy, funny Puss in Boots will soon get his own 3D movie.
The character, which is voiced by Antonio Banderas, has appeared in all four "Shrek" films. Banderas will return for what's being described as an origin movie. Salma Hayek is also onboard, voicing his sexy feline lady-friend.

Today Nvidia has posted a new 3DTV Play Support Update Utility version 1.0.0.18 for the latest WHQL drivers 266.58 that adds official support for new 3D HDTVs and 3D projectors. Have in mind that this update utility should not be used with any other driver than 266.58, like with the newer betas for example, and it is only needed if you are using any of the included new HDMI 1.4-capable 3D products.

CEA Wants to Standardize 3D Glasses
We've received a few questions asking why Samsung 3D glasses don't work with Sony TVs and vice versa. Apparently, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) is wondering the same thing.
