Glasses-Free 3D Coming to Planes and Cars
We don't even have glasses-free 3D TVs in homes yet, but there's already talk of other places where the technology will pop up. Panasonic is expanding its exclusive Avatar 3D Blu-ray disc program to enable consumers that purchase one of its Blu-ray disc players or Home Theater in a Box (HTiBs) to receive a copy of the highly sought after movie. The movie, which ignited interest in 3D content, is not available through normal retail avenues, and prior to Panasonic's expansion of its Avatar 3D promotion, the electronics giant required consumers to purchase one of its 3D televisions to get the 3D version of the movie.

French 'Thor' Poster Looks Fake
Let me just say this: I know that "Thor" is not a real guy or anything. However, this new French poster (below) seems to be suffering from a really bad case of Photoshop. If I'm not mistaken, this is the regular "Thor" poster, with Natalie Portman superimposed in there. Of course, she is a big draw. It just looks, well... bad. It seems that iZ3D was very active behind the scenes working on their new beta drivers and that is the reason why they did not have any publicly released driver updates for quite a while. If you have an HDMI 1.4(a)-capable 3D HDTV, monitor or projector and you want to use it with 3D content coming from your PC, then one of the options is to use Nvidia’s 3DTV Play software, provided that you have a compatible video card. And although Nvidia is trying to support most of the 3D-capable HDMI 1.4(a) products if you get a less popular or a very new product it might not yet be officially supported. Apparently Nvidia released the updated version of the player on April 1st, but nobody believed them, however it is not a joke (I’ve just noticed the updated version).
